Oppo R7 appears in video leak

The Oppo R7 has appeared in a new video, which shows more of its stylish bezel-less design.
We saw fresh images of the Oppo R7 a few days ago, highlighting the Chinese phone as one to watch. However, this latest leak gives an even better view of the company’s next flagship.
The video comes from Chinese website Mobile-Dad (via Pocket-lint), and it really shows off the edge-to-edge nature of the R7’s display better than any static images – particularly when the narrator scrolls between home screens.
It’s claimed that the Oppo R7 will be extremely thin. In fact, it could even be thinner than the already-stupidly-thin Oppo R5, which was a mere slip of a thing at 4.85mm thick.
Despite these slight dimensions, the Oppo R7 won’t have a protruding camera lens. Hear that, Apple and Samsung?
While the bezel-less screen looks impressive, it’s actually something of an optical illusion. The screen is actually slightly smaller, with a clever light diffraction technique effectively expanding its reach right up to the left and right edges.

It’s also expected that the R7 will run on a 64-bit, octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor, and that it will feature a 20.7-megapixel rear camera.
There’s no news on a release date or pricing as yet, but judging from the complete nature of the hardware in this video, an official announcement can’t be far off.
