Lenovo has announced a bundle of new tablets and hybrids, but the star of the show has to be the new Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro.
The 13.3-inch tablet has a 2560 x 1440 quad-HD display which offers a pixel resolution of 226ppi.
However, if watching movies and making presentations on the built-in display isn’t enough,
Lenovo isn’t the first company to do this, but it’s definitely one of the first times we’ve seen a Pico projector built into a tablet from a major manufacturer.
The availability of extra screen size is boosted by the presence of 8-watt sound and the presence of a Dolby Audio-enabled subwoofer in a tablet for the first time.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Lenovo Yoga-branded device without some sort of design nuance and in this case it’s the larger stand that allows users to Hang the tablet from things.
In terms of specs it has an Intel Atom processor (fourth-gen), has 32GB of built-in storage (bumped up with microSD) and an 8-megapixel rear facing camera. Lenovo touts a 15-hour battery life for the 4G-ready tablet which will arrive in the UK priced at a rather reasonable-sounding £449.
Farther down the trough, Lenovo has also outed a Yoga Tablet 2 which comes in 8- and 10-inch iterations with a choice of the Android or Windows operating systems.
Finally, the Yoga Pro 3 is a laptop/tablet Windows hybrid device with a 13-inch QHD 3200 x 1800 display. It features the Intel Core M processor and at 12.8mm thin is still dinky enough to be classed as an Ultrabook.
The Yoga Pro 3 with a 9-hour battery life will go on sale later this month for $1,349 (around £836).
