Lenovo to introduce X1 ThinkPad with Yoga folding and OLED screen

Lenovo will be launching new X1 range devices, including a ThinkPad X1 Yoga ultrabook with an OLED screen.

The ThinkPad X1 Yoga will feature the hinge design from Lenovo’s Yoga range of laptops, bringing 360 degree folding to the ThinkPad business line for the first time.

As well as the innovative hinge, a version of the laptop featuring Samsung’s OLED display technology will be available.

The ThinkPad X1 Yoga will also include a touchscreen and stylus and will go on sale in January in the US, while OLED models won’t be available until April.

Alongside the new 360 degree folding laptop, the firm will also
introduce an updated version of its X1 Carbon ultrabook, and a new
ThinkPad X1 tablet.

The latest ThinkPad X1 Carbon will debut in February and features a sixth-generation Skylake processor inside a slimmed-down, 0.66-inches thick, case.

It also weighs 1.18kg (2.6 pounds) and includes a fingerprint reader.
