Overwatch and LEGO unite in unexpected crossover as teaser website appears

Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch is set to receive an official range of LEGO products as a new website emerges for the unexpected crossover.
The partnership was first announced by Blizzard and LEGO in May 2018, although a release date and specific details remain unconfirmed.
That is, until now. According to information obtained by Brick Fanatics, the LEGO Overwatch range could launch alongside a TV series of sorts in January 2019.
In terms of products, the outlet states that Overwatch will receive six traditional minifigure sets alongside minifigure-focused packs and other accessories.

The website is relatively sparse, displaying a coming soon message alongside a quote from Overwatch’s poster child, Tracer: “Let’s get this moving.”
Ideas surrounding Overwatch being adapted into a television series have emerged quite a few times in the past, although many fans thought it’d follow a CG route like the title’s popular animated shorts.
However, considering the popularity of both brands, a LEGO Overwatch series coming exclusively to Netflix also feels like a sound idea.
Time will tell, and with the official website now live, it’s only a matter of time until Blizzard or LEGO make a formal announcement.
