iOS 10’s Messages app has a hardcore porn problem

Apple is experiencing a few teething problems with the new GIF search functionality baked into its new Messages app for iOS 10.
Extremely not safe for work results have been surfacing through innocuous searches, namely for the words ‘butt’ and ‘huge.’
Although since removed by Apple, a search for ‘butt’ had revealed a My Little Pony doing something we never envisioned My Little Ponies doing, as the third result down.

Likewise a search for ‘huge’ certainly showed something huge, although, in an unfortunate turn of events, with another person’s face attached to it.
As this was a GIF image we’re not quite sure whether the young lady in question was ever able to free herself.
While the pony porn image was first reported by Deadspin, a reader emailed The Verge to say her young daughter had discovered the ‘huge’ GIF while attempting to text her father.
“
“I grabbed the phone from her immediately. She typed in the word ‘huge,’ which isn’t sexual in any nature. It’s just a word, not like butt or anything else.”
Judging by our search results Apple seemingly did a pretty good job of clocking the obvious naughty or suggestive words, just not the innocuous ones. Seems like the company needs to get to work on an adult content filter.
iOS 10 officially arrived this week. You’d think someone testing the beta might have spotted this, right?
