Here’s how to get Windows 10 before everyone else

We’ve known that Microsoft is planning to launch Windows 10 on July 29 for a while now, but that may not strictly be true.
In a blog post today, the company revealed that not everyone will be getting Windows 10 at the same time.
Instead, Windows Insiders will get first pick of the new operating system, with those who’ve reserved the software following in waves.
“Starting on July 29, we will start rolling out Windows 10 to our Windows Insiders,” reads the Microsoft blog post.
It continues: “From there, we will start notifying reserved systems in waves, slowly scaling up after July 29.
According to the post, you’ll only get your reserved copy of Windows 10 once Microsoft’s “compatibility work confirms you will have a great experience.” Right.
The motto of the story is that if you want Windows 10 first, you better sign up to the Windows Insider program real quick.
So when will those who didn’t reserve Windows 10 get it? We’re not exactly sure, although July 29 isn’t looking likely.
