The new multiplayer mode will combine fan favourites Warzone and Firefight, and it looks like a blast.
Warzone Firefight will pit you and up to 8 other players against multiple waves of increasingly difficult AI opponents.
The REQ system available in Halo 5’s Warzone mode will also carry over, allowing you to purchase weapons, vehicles and upgrades with in-game currency.

343 Industries has said the new mode will feature “the most on-screen enemies in the history of the franchise,” so let’s hope the framerate can keep up.
In addition to Covenant and Forerunner enemies, a new class of enemies known as “Mythic” will be introduced.
Mythic enemies will be far more challenging variants of normal enemies, requiring precise teamwork to take down.
Warzone Firefight will be available as a free update for Halo 5: Guardians this summer.
