GTA Online Beach Bum DLC lands today with 1.06 update

The recently announced GTA Online Beach Bum DLC is available today as part of the GTA 5 1.06 title update.

Rockstar Games has released the Beach Bum update containing new weapons, vehicles and clothing among other things, is available now as part of the 1.06 GTA 5 title update.

PS3 gamers will automatically get the pack with the 1.06 update, but Xbox 360 GTA 5 players will need to download it directly from the Xbox Games Store.

Publisher Rockstar has confirmed that the GTA Online Beach Bum update is inbound, with a range of new features to be rolled out next Tuesday, November 19.

Further enhancing the online platform of the record-breaking GTA 5 title, the GTA Online Beach Bum update will see new weapons, vehicles and mini games introduced to prolong the game’s staying power.

“Get ready to tear up the coast and kick up some sand with the free Grand Theft Auto Online Beach Bum update that will be coming next week Tuesday November 19th”, an official Rockstar spokesperson said of the upcoming release.

They added: “The new Beach Bum content will be added automatically to GTA Online through our next title update (1.06), and will include two new weapons, a quartet of rugged and fun new vehicles for land and sea, lots of new action-packed Jobs, plus a wide variety of suitably rad new apparel, hairstyle and tattoo customization options.”

With the new GTA 5 weapons seeing a compact SNS Pistol introduced alongside a broken bottle which can now be wielded at enemies, the Beach Bum update will also see a Speeder speedboat line up alongside a trio of beach faring vehicles.

With a Bravado Paradise beach camper letting gamers take it easy, the Beach Bum update will also see the racing ready BF Bifta dune buggy and Canis Kalahari off-road truck added to the mix.

As well as a mass of new character customisation options, a raft of additional GTA Online ‘Jobs’ and mini games will be added next week, with gamers required to don parachutes, complete bike races and take part in team deathmatches to complete all the new additions.
