There’s a cracking game going on at the Kazan Arena this afternoon, with Germany and South Korea set to battle it out for a place in the World Cup Round of 16. Our guide reveals everything you need to know to watch the Germany vs South Korea game on TV and online – and best of all, it’s free! Plus, full Germany vs South Korea TV channel details, the kick-off time and more.
Reigning champions Germany are under pressure, and lots of it. Coming into the tournament, they were expected to breeze through their group, but things haven’t turned out that way. After being humbled by Mexico in their opening game, they managed to snatch a win against a very ordinary Sweden side with a last-gasp Toni Kroos free-kick.
In order to avoid an early exit, Die Mannschaft need to sort their defence out and get a better result than whatever Sweden manage against Mexico. For extra drama, both games are being played at the same time.
South Korea, meanwhile, are also in with a shout, despite losing both of their first two matches. In order to go through, the Taegeuk Jeonsa not only need to win, but also need to beat Germany by at least two clear goals and hope Sweden lose to Mexico. It’s unlikely, but as previous results in this year’s tournament have shown us, anything can happen.
Without further ado, here’s how to tune into the game.
