Fresh Air Plus: the toilet seat that gets rid of bad smells

This gadget seeks to eliminate the social land mine that is bad smells in the toilet.
As soon as you sit down on the throne, the Fresh Air Plus gets to work.
Simply replace your standard toilet seat with the Fresh Air Plus, and plug it into a wall socket. Then drill a hole in the wall, widen it using the supplied wood eater bit, and pass the Fresh Air Hose through it. Drill another hole in the exterior wall so you can run the hose to the outside.
Installation should only take a few minutes. And if you’re not too handy at DIY, you can get a handyman to do it.
It’s a refreshingly hi-tech take on an age-old problem. And it promises to be more effective than sprays or scented candles.
It’s the brainchild of Adam Payz from Nashville, Tennessee. He’s seeking $80,000 (£49,000) on Kickstarter to put the Fresh Air Plus into production.
So far, he’s only raised $205. But there are still 48 days to go. And we’re sure people won’t pooh-pooh his idea.
You can pledge your support now. Pledge $600 or more, and you’ll get a set of three Fresh Air Plus toilet seats, and three hoses. Delivery is estimated for March next year, so you’ll have to keep on holding your nose until then.
