Football Manager 2019 release date confirmed – watch the first trailer here

Are you ready to jump back onto the managerial merry-go-round? Just days before the start of the new Premier League season, Sports Interactive has announced the Football Manager 2019 release date and dropped the first trailer for this year’s game.
FM19 arrives in the dugout on November 2, with pre-purchases launching today with the promise of a 10% saving for PC and Mac. The developer is promising redesigned logos, a refreshed in-game look and the inclusion of the DFL Bundesliga license for the first time ever.
There’s going to be loads of new and improved features, SI says, but those will be revealed in late September. Until then, we’ll have to be content with the new cover. SI has announced ‘Manager Man’ who has been the cover star of every game since FM 2005, is being moved upstairs in favour of a new ‘manager’s eye view’ showing the players leaving the tunnel.

You can see the trailer, which gives away precisely nothing about the game itself, below.
The three versions of the game Football Manager 2019 (for PC and Mac), Football Manager 2019 Touch (FC, Mac, iOS and Android) and Football Manager 2019 Mobile (iOS and Android) will all be released on the same day.
If you purchase the game from a SEGA-approved digital retailer, you’ll get a fully-playable beta two weeks earlier.
Hoping Manager Man and the old logo enjoy their retirement.
Coming out in a box, and digitally, on November 2nd. #FM19https://t.co/IJJkQgGcBB— Miles Jacobson (@milesSI) August 6, 2018
Last year’s game earned an 8/10 score from Trusted Reviews, winning praise for its improved tactics, more realistic scouting and addictive gameplay. We noted it may be time for a UI refresh and pointed out the newly introduced features didn’t offer too much. We’d expect SI to improve upon both of these in the 2019 iteration.
