Final Fantasy 15 to receive a free demo, according to leaked trailer

Square Enix will release the playable demo after tonight’s Uncovered: Final Fantasy XV Presentation.

The demo seems to take place in a dream where you play as a young version of the game’s protagonist, Noctis.

It appears the gameplay sequence found in the demo will not be included in the full release, acting a short prologue for “fans and first timers alike.”

This will likely be one of the big surprises from tonight’s event alongside the long-awaited release date for Final Fantasy XV.

The event will also showcase new gameplay, features and characters from the upcoming JRPG, which has been in development for almost a decade.

You can watch the event here at 3AM GMT, if you’re willing to stay up that late.

Final Fantasy XV is coming to PS4 and Xbox One. It may also release on PC, judging by its recent appearance in Steam’s database.
