FIFA 17 cover star to be decided by fans

The cover vote for FIFA 17 has begun, giving fans a possible four choices for the game’s yearly cover star.
For the past four years, Lionel Messi has found himself on the cover of EA’s yearly football franchise, but that’s all about to change with FIFA 17.
Fans are able to choose from the following players to grace the game’s box art:
- Manchester United’s Anthony Martial
- Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez
- Chelsea’s Eden Hazard
- Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus

In order to vote you must head over to the official website where you will need to register before picking your favourite player.
You can also pick up additional votes by sharing the competition on social media. More votes could bag you some exclusive FIFA Ultimate Team items and card packs.
“James, Martial, Hazard, and Reus represent exciting, attacking football and epitomize the innovative play that fans can expect in FIFA 17,” said EA Sports senior producer Nick Channon.
“We’re excited to see fans rally around their favorite players and see who they select as the cover star for the franchise and the footballer who will represent FIFA 17 globally.”

FIFA 17 is scheduled to launch for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on September 29.
It’s worth keeping in mind that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will lack some features, including the new story mode.
