FIFA 17 cover star to be decided by fans

The cover vote for FIFA 17 has begun, giving fans a possible four choices for the game’s yearly cover star.

For the past four years, Lionel Messi has found himself on the cover of EA’s yearly football franchise, but that’s all about to change with FIFA 17.

Fans are able to choose from the following players to grace the game’s box art:

  • Manchester United’s Anthony Martial
  • Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez
  • Chelsea’s Eden Hazard
  • Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus

“James, Martial, Hazard, and Reus represent exciting, attacking football and epitomize the innovative play that fans can expect in FIFA 17,”  said EA Sports senior producer Nick Channon.

“We’re excited to see fans rally around their favorite players and see who they select as the cover star for the franchise and the footballer who will represent FIFA 17 globally.”
