Driveclub to live on without Evolution Studios

Driveclub will receive new updates and features despite the closure of Evolution Studios, Sony has confirmed.
Evolution Studios, the developer of Driveclub, Motorstorm and WRC, was suddenly closed down.
The team’s most recent project, Driveclub, will “live on under the care of Sony” according to ex-community manager Jamie Bradshaw.

Posting on Twitter, Bradshaw reflects on his time with studio and the future of Driveclub.
Driveclub received a number of free updates following its release, as well as a ‘PlayStation Plus’ version. Evolution recently began work on a Playstation VR version of the racer.
It is unknown whether this project will continue, or if Sony will assign another team to the IP.
Evolution Studios isn’t the only major UK studio to have closed in 2016. Lionhead Studios was closed by Microsoft earlier this month, bringing an end to free-to-play title Fable Legends.
