Destroy Rebel Scum as Darth Vader when installing Star Wars Battlefront

Star Wars Battlefront’s preload minigame lets you annihilate rebel scum as Darth Vader.

Game installations have never been so much fun, or evil for that matter.

Star Wars Battlefront gives you the opportunity to play as Darth Vader while your console installs the game on PS4 and Xbox One.

You can practice your sith skills against continuous waves of Rebel Scum, utilising your lightsaber and force powers however you like.

This is a nice way for players to familiarise themselves with Vader’s controls before jumping into a real game; or just an excuse to murder some fools.

Darth Vader must defend himself against constant waves of Rebel Scum during the minigame. This is all takes place within in a small hanger on the desert planet of Tatooine.

A kill counter is shown at the top of the screen, so you can keep track of how many poor rebels you’ve slaughtered.

The counter caps out at 99 kills, or defeats, as Battlefront calls them.

Eurogamer has captured some footage of the mode, which you can check out here.

The upcoming multiplayer-only title will give you the chance to play as legendary Star Wars characters such as Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and even Boba Fett.

Star Wars Battlefront is set to launch on November 19 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

EA Access members already have access to the full game on Xbox One, however, this is limited to a 10 hour trial.
