Dark Souls 3 to be announced at E3 2015?

Dark Souls 3 could be announced at E3 2015, according to a new report.

Thanks to information provided by a “source familiar with the matter”, we could be seeing Dark Souls 3 launched at E3 2015 this month.

The VG247 source suggest that Dark Souls 3 development is being headed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, responsible for directing Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls and Bloodborne.

Miyazaki only played a supervisory role on Dark Souls 2, with Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura co-directing the sequel.

The source was unable to comment as to which press conference would be used to announce the game.

However, the suggestion was made that the launch would occur during Sony’s E3 2015 press conference on Monday, June 15.

Seeing as Bloodborne was only released in March, many fans may well be disappointed by the timing.

Especially as Sony Worldwide Studios only confirmed the Bloodborne DLC at the end of last month, with further details coming “later this year”.
