Call of Duty: Ghosts achievements reveal campaign details
The full list of Call of Duty: Ghosts achievements have been posted online, revealing several campaign details ahead of the game’s launch.
Those playing the Xbox 360 edition of Call of Duty: Ghosts will be rewarded with 50 achievements for completing objectives like commandeering a space station.
The space portion of the single player campaign was teased in a Call of Duty: Ghosts trailer released on September 10, revealing the COD astronauts in all their cheesy B-movie glory.
Ranging from 5 to 100 Xbox Gamer Points, the Call of Duty: Ghosts achievements also reveal other new details surrounding the single player campaign.
Gamers will be playing levels based in Fort Santa Monica, LA and San Diego within COD: Ghosts, and have to traverse jungles and explore underwater sections during the game.
Levels will include those entitled “Ghost Stories”, “Brave New World”, “No Man’s Land”, “Struck Down”, “Homecoming”, “Legends Never Die”, “Federation Day”, “Birds of Prey”, “The Hunted”, “Clockwork”, “Atlas Falls”, “End of the Line”, “Sin City”, “Severed Ties”, “Loki” and “The Ghost Killer”.
There are fairly comical achievements to be unlocked too, with one named “Carbon Faceprint” asking gamers to “catch the photocopier with your face”.
Players will also be rewarded for using the infamous Call of Duty: Ghosts dog to his best ability, with 10 gamer points awarded to those who can pounce on 10 enemies while controlling Riley.
The game’s developer, Infinity Ward, has also included nine secret achievements for the game, which offer rewards ranging from 10 – 40 gamer points.
Interesting, it seems Infinity Ward aren’t offering that many achievement for the multiplayer portion of the game, apart from one that requires gamers to reach round 20 in Safeguard. Of course, the multiplayer achievements may well be hidden within the secret achievements.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will launch for Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U on November 5, with the game also arriving later in the month as an Xbox One and PS4 launch title.
