Best Huawei P9 images yet hit the web

The first real-world pictures of the Huawei P9 have cropped up online.
It’s no secret that Huawei has another flagship phone in the works, despite its no-show at this year’s MWC. Indeed, Huawei confirmed as much to TrustedReviews.
So far, however, the only glimpse we’ve had of the Huawei P9 has been through some fairly sketchy Weibo images – until now.
VentureBeat has managed to snag what seem to be the first hands-on images of the Huawei P9. It grants a close look at the phone’s premium all-metal design, including touches like the glass visor that covers the distinctive dual-camera module, the recessed fingerprint sensor below that, and an iPhone-esque bottom edge that includes a USB Type-C port.
The source of the hands-on images also provides a full spec run-down. Apparently, the Huawei P9 will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display, an octa-core Kirin 950 CPU with Mali-T880 GPU, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.
Those dual-cameras will feature a pair of 12-megapixel sensors and Leica-made lenses, which sounds promising.

Perhaps the stand-out spec here is the presence of a 3900mAh battery – that’s huge for a premium phablet, let alone a relatively small, low-resolution smartphone. This one could break a few stamina records.
We’re expecting to see the Huawei P9 launched some time in the second quarter of 2016.
