Battlefield: Hardline beta opens today

EA Games has broken tradition and launched the Battlefield: Hardline beta today, June 9, for PS4 and PC.

If you want to get your hands on the new Battlefield title ahead of the game’s release date in October.

Usually, EA Games would make the Battlefield beta available closer to the game’s official launch, but the publisher has chosen to make it available early to gain gamer feedback.

“We’ve still got a lot to do over the next few months, but your feedback at this early stage is key”, explained EA during its E3 2014 press conference.

The Battlefield: Hardline closed beta is available to gamers on a first come, first serve basis and only on the PS4 and PC.

If you own Battlefield 4 on the PS4, just head to the game’s live tile and you’ll see a new download Hardline beta option come up. The beta will start downloading as soon as you hit that button, as long as you’re quick enough.

As for the PC beta, you’ll need to head to the Battlefield: Hardline website to find out how to download the beta on your system.
