Warner Bros has released the Batman: Arkham Knight PC patch, after a brief early leak.
A long-awaited patch for the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is now available on Steam.
Rocksteady’s latest Batman game on PC was riddled with bugs that made the game impossible to play at launch.
It has been unlisted from the Steam Store since June, when the customers started complaining of severe graphical and performance bugs and glitches.
Fans expect that this update will fix the vast majority of the game’s technical problems.
The update was accidentally deployed to a number of users on Wednesday, but at least their impressions were very positive.

Full details of the Batman Arkham Knight PC patch can be found below, straight from Warner Bros itself:
- Reduced frame rate hitches
- Optimizations for system memory and VRAM usage
- Improved performance on all GPUs (requires the latest drivers)
- More Comprehensive In-Game Settings
- Fixed low resolution texture bugs
- Fixed hitches when running on mechanical hard drives (HDD)
Warner Bros also outlined that it wishes to tackle the following issues in future updates:
- Adding support for SLI and Crossfire
- Adding support for the latest DLC & Season Pass content
- Adding support for additional updates such as Photo Mode
- Continued improvements and bug fixing for a Windows 7 specific memory issue that occurs on configurations with 8GB of system RAM and some NVIDIA GPUs during extended game play
- Continued improvements for Windows 10 specific issues on systems with some AMD GPUs
“We would like to thank everyone for their patience and invaluable feedback,” said Warner Bros on the Steam page. “We’ll provide ongoing updates here as they are made available. In the meantime, please enjoy the game with the latest patch.”
