If you really want to spend as little cash as possible on your next Windows phone then the Lumia 640 may well be for you.
Although the phone was released back in May 2015, it’s still being carried by most big retailers, such as Carphone Warehouse. With prices starting as low as £100, the Lumia 640 is about as affordable a smartphone you can get.
Despite being cheap, the phone has aged pretty well. It has a nicely colourful plastic design that oozes character, and it comes loaded with a free one-year subscription to Office 365 – this would normally set you back £59.99.
What’s more, since it runs using the older Windows Phone 8.1 OS, performance is rock-solid – and blissfully free of the bugs currently infesting Windows 10 Mobile.
