Watch Dogs 101 trailer takes you through gameplay elements

Ubisoft has released the latest Watch Dogs trailer 101 detailing various gameplay aspects ahead of the game’s release on May 27.

Tackling main gameplay points like hacking, the characters, the game’s multiplayer portion, companion app, driving functionality and “game changers”, the 9-minute long trailer gives us the best and most comprehensive look at the game we’ve had yet.

Similar to other games like inFamous: Second Son, the actions that you make with the ctOS will affect the public’s perception of you and how they react to you.

The trailer walks you through the game’s various key characters including Aiden Pearce himself and others like T-Bone Grady and Clara Lille and the way you can hack into the ctOS to open up a “world of opportunity.”

Watch Dogs multiplayer is also tacked in the 101 Trailer, explaining how the game blends single- and multi-player gaming. Other players can infect your game and attempt to infiltrate them, connecting online players together.

If you can’t get access to your console, the ctOS companion app for Android and iOS lets you act as the Chicago Police Department, controlling traffic lights, helicopter and road blocks as well as letting you trigger other hacks to change your friends’ games.

A large portion of the latest trailer is dedicated to the driving portions of Watch Dogs. You can directly steal vehicles, input registration numbers to have cars delivered to you or act as a wheelman as a side job.

There are over 70 different kinds of vehicle for you to play with in-game as well.

The trailer also details the different features that you can find within the game’s smartphone system, but we’ll let you take a look at them in the trailer embedded below.
