Ubisoft Club launching as new cross-platform rewards service
Ubisoft has announced a new cross-platform rewards service called Ubisoft Club, which will launch later this year.
As revealed by a new trailer, Ubisoft is about to launch the Ubisoft Club, a rewards service that works across a variety of platforms.
According to the trailer, the Ubisoft Club will allow players to earn badges, XP and Units, just by playing Ubisoft titles.
These can be then used to access “extra in-game content, participation in betas, limited edition goodies, or discounts in the shop”.

The service sounds very similar to Ubisoft’s existing Uplay platform, which allows players to earn Units and unlock additional bonus content by fulfilling certain requirements in selected Ubisoft games.
There’s no launch date for the Ubisoft Club as yet, and there’s no information as to how it ties in with Uplay at this point.
The trailer does say that you can sign up to the service “now”, which could mean the service is launching in the very near future.
However, the Ubisoft Club website is now live and allows you to sign up with your Uplay account. It seems to pull all your Uplay information through, so perhaps Ubisoft is consolidating the two services into one.
