Samsung has revealed that a new Batman-themed Galaxy S7 Edge is "coming soon".
If you thought the Batphone was a flashing red land line affair, you're clearly living in the Adam West era. Samsung's new Batman-themed phone should be far more sleek.
Samsung has tweeted news of an impending special edition Galaxy S7 Edge.
The company also tweeted a GIF that appears to show a Batman symbol engraved onto the back of the phone.
So why release a Batman-themed phone now? After all, the buzz concerning the dreadful Batman v Superman movie has well and truly passed.
The clue appears to be in the line "A new device for the battle against the Gods Among Us," as well as "Injustice is about to be served," and the related branding in the bottom right-hand corner of the main image.
Injustice: Gods Among Us is a three-year-old video game in which a large cast of DC heroes beat the tar out of one another. Will there be a new version of the game launching soon, or perhaps a major update to the existing game?
Whatever, Samsung will be there to endorse it.
The South Korean manufacturer is no stranger to superhero-themed offerings, of course. Most notable was last year's Iron-Man-themed Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which even came with a wireless charging dock shaped like Tony Stark's iconic arc reactor.
