Ubisoft has confirmed an exclusive Xbox One beta for Tom Clancy’s The Division.
Ahead of the game’s release date in 2016, Xbox One gamers will be able to get an early preview of The Division.
According to Ubisoft, the exclusive beta access will land some time in early December but only for Xbox One gamers.
The Division is set in a post-apocalyptic version of New York where a pandemic virus has spread through the city.
You are part of the Division itself, a small group of sleeper agents that have been awakened to help the authorities control the virus and help bring the city back from disarray.

During the Xbox E3 presentation, Ubisoft also revealed that Rainbow 6: Siege would arrive this October, and would bring with it free copies of Rainbow Six Vegas and its sequel.
That’s part of the power of Xbox’s new toy - Xbox backwards compatibility. From sometime this holiday season, you’ll be able to play all your Xbox 360 back catalogue through your Xbox One.
Unlike Sony’s PlayStation Now solution to backwards compatibility, Xbox is taking a different tack.
You will have access to any games you own on Xbox 360 digitally through your Xbox One, but there’s no added fee attached to allow you to get access to your games.
There’s still no concrete release date for The Division as yet, but we’re hoping it’s early 2016 rather than later.
