The US Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota will host the big game, which sees the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots of the AFC take on the NFC’s Philadelphia Eagles.

Sky Sports is offering the most comprehensive coverage, with the build-up starting at 10pm GMT on three of its new-look channels: Sky Sports Main Event, Sky Sports Action and Sky Sports Mix.
The BBC will be providing a more modest 15 minutes of pre-game hype and is starting its coverage at 11:15pm GMT
This means that live streaming Super Bowl 52 is both easy and free, as all you need to do is fire up BBC iPlayer. You need a valid UK TV license these days to be able to legally access it, but provided you’ve got that in place, there’s no additional charges attached.

The Patriots start as favourites, according to the bookies, with Paddy Power listing them at 1/2 compared to the Eagles’ 17/10 odds. However, as NFL fans know, it’s always a case of ‘any given Sunday’, and we’d expect this year’s Super Bowl to be a close encounter.
