Desperate to catch an early glimpse of the Galaxy Note 6 (or Note 7)? Here’s your best chance yet.
A new image of what looks to be Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 7 has surfaced on Chinese social media site Weibo. The website is a notorious hotbed for leaks, so we’re not surprised by this latest reveal. However, due to the nature of the leak, we can’t verify its legitimacy – so take it with due caution.
As is evident from the image, the supposed Note 7 appears to have a curved dual-edge display. This has been a heavily rumoured feature, with tipsters suggesting that the phone will only be available in a curved variant. Samsung has reportedly done away with traditional flat displays for this year’s Note line-up.
But this isn’t the only leak that’s popped up today. A listing on import/export website Zauba reveals components for a Samsung smartphone with the model number SM-N930F – the purported name for the Galaxy Note 7. Waterproof glass backs have been listed, suggesting that the rumours of a water-resistant Galaxy Note 7 may be true after all.
Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 at a dedicated launch event in New York on August 2. The company has not yet released any official details, however.
