Robot Wars returns to our screens this Sunday after 13 years, and we've got all the information you need about the rebooted series.
With new and improved House Robots, a whole new presenting team, and huge nostalgic appeal, there's plenty to look forward to with the newly rebooted Robot Wars, which returns this Sunday at 8pm. And while Craig Charles has been swapped out in favour of Mock the Week host Dara O'Briain, the show looks set to maintain the look and feel of the original.
What's more, the hulking new House Robots really do look like they're going create untold carnage on the arena floor, and we can't wait to see some shoddily-built contraptions get ripped to shreds.
Where to watch Robot Wars
If, like us, you have an unquenchable thirst for robotic mayhem, you should tune in to BBC Two on Sunday at 8pm.
Those looking to watch online can use the BBC's iPlayer service to watch live at the same time, and catch-up will be available via the same portal.
If you want to watch on mobile, you can download the iPlayer app using the following links:
The new show will be hosted by O'Briain and Angela Scanlon, with original commentator Jonathan Pearce returning to narrate the battles.
Glasgow is the setting for this latest incarnation of the series, and of course, there's a new logo for the whole affair, which you can see below.
Kate Phillips, the BBC Acting Controller of Entertainment Commissioning, has previously remarked that the new robots have become "much more powerful", so expect to see some serious mayhem when the show airs.
Despite claims that the show will feature more 'human interest' aspects, which to us just sounds like a distraction from the good stuff, we're pretty excited for this one.
