UPDATE: Evan Blass has added to yesterday’s leakage with a new render for the ‘Long Island’ curved-screen version of the upcoming Mate 9.
Having unveiled the standard model yesterday in a detailed render, the online tipster went ahead and gave us a a full look at its curvy counterpart, in the same lilac hue.
What’s more, Blass, otherwise known as @evleaks, revealed the curved-screen Mate 9 will be known as the Mate 9 Pro.

Interestingly, if Blass’ leaks are legit, the Pro model, unlike the render for the flat-screen version doesn’t seem to have a headphone jack on top, leading some to speculate that the device will use USB Type-C or wireless headphones.
The renders show both models as coming with a USB Type-C port on the bottom, as well as the Leica-branded dual-camera setup on the rear of the devices.
Elsewhere, the curved-edge Mate 9 appears to have two speaker grilles, as opposed to the one on the standard model – though there could just be one speaker, with one of the grilles simply being there for aesthetics.
Both the so-called Manhatten and Long Island models are expected to arrive with similar specs when it comes to internal hardware, along with Android 7.0 Nougat.

Huawei is set to announce its new Mate 9 smartphone on November 3, but as is common practice now days, the phone has been fully revealed ahead of the official unveiling.
And who else could have provided us with such a clear look at the handset as the one and only Evan Blass, otherwise known as @evleaks.
The prolific online leaker took to Twitter, following a reveal he provided earlier this month, to post the following image, showing the upcoming phone in all its purple glory:

The Mate 9 is thought to come in two models: a flat-screen version codenamed Manhattan and a dual curved-edge screen version known as Long Island.
Blass’ latest contribution to the leakage appears to be an official render of the Manhatten device in a dark purple tint, which reveals a slight design change from previous leaks.

We’re almost certain the Mate 9 will come with a Leica-branded camera setup, but in this image it seems to have been moved from the top to the side.
Of course, Huawei hasn’t confirmed whether the image is legit yet, so take this one with due caution. But Blass is a reliable tipster, so it seems on the level.
Elsewhere, the Mate 9 is expected to debut with a Kirin 960 chipset and a 6-inch Full HD display, though there could be some differences between the flat-screen and curved-edge model.
