HTC One Mini UK release date tipped as August 9

A HTC One Mini UK release has been rumoured, with latest reports suggesting that the sub-sized sibling to the flagship HTC One will hit retailers on August 9.

The latest in a recent flurry of HTC One Mini rumours, it has been suggested that the expected rival to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will hit retailers within a matter of weeks, touching down on August 9, just over four months after its full sized sibling.

With a number of leaked HTC One Mini pictures and claimed specs having done the rounds in recent weeks, serial Twitter based tech tipster @ViziLeaks has now claimed the HTC One Mini will launch in the UK in less than a month.

Having recently correctly predicted the mooted Nokia EOS phone would touch down as the Nokia Lumia 1020, a message sent out by ViziLeaks today stated simply: “#HTC #OneMini #M4 hits UK stores 9th August 2013.”

HTC One Mini Rumours
Although yet to be formally unveiled by the manufacturer, the HTC One Mini is widely expected to enter the realms of reality in the coming weeks as a 4.3-inch mid-market offering. Tipped to line up in both black and white forms, the Mini has yet to be spotted in the Glamour Red colour scheme that has recently been bestowed on its big brother.

As well as taking a drop in size, the HTC One Mini has been rumoured to run a reduced array of specs which will help the phone hit a more affordable price point.

With a 1280 x 720p HD display mooted to feature front a centre, the HTC One Mini specs sheet is said to see a 1.4GHz dual-core processor run alongside 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Set to run Google’s latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS skinned with the company’s Sense UI, the One Mini will be finished in the same brushed aluminium exterior as its sibling.

Taking further pointers from the full on Samsung Galaxy S4 rival, the HTC One Mini features list is set to be rounded off by the same 4-UltraPixel rear-mounted snapper and BoomSound stereo speakers as the One.
