Harmonix has announced a new crowdfunding campaign to bring Rock Band 4 to PC.
Harmonix has launched a campaign on fig. It is seeking a minimum of $1.5 million to cover development costs.
The total development cost of the project is $2 million, but Harmonix has already invested $500,000.
If the campaign is successful Rock Band 4 will be available on PC in Fall 2016, complete with a number of new songs and features.

The PC version will receive the same monthly updates found on the console release, alongside a few new features:
- World Tour Campaign Mode
- Freestyle Guitar Solos
- 65 songs included "out of the box" - and you can get up to 33 additional songs if you back us here on Fig!
- 1700+ additional playable songs available as downloadable content
- Supporting wireless guitar controller, drum kit and next generation microphone
Pledging $49 will guarantee you a copy of the game if successfully funded, and $10,000 could grant you a candle-lit dinner with Double Fine’s Tim Schafer.
Harmonix will not be developing Rock Band 4 for PC though. Instead, development duties will be handed to Sumo Digital, so Harmonix can continue work on PS4 and Xbox One.
