Hardly a day goes by when we’re not smacked with a new Galaxy Note 6 leak – today is no different.

Pricing comparison site uSwitch has sourced supposedly official Samsung Galaxy Note 6 blueprints, with the help of renowned tech leaker and journalist Steve Hemmerstoffer. These blueprints – which we’re unable to verify – have been used to create renders and a video depicting what they Galaxy Note 6 might look like.

“Based on leaked blueprints, these renders give us our first look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 6 ahead of its debut in August/September,” writes uSwitch.

The first thing to note is that the phone looks very much like the Galaxy S7 Edge, albeit with a slot for the stylus pen – a staple of the Note series. There’s also a USB-C port included on the handset, which wasn’t featured on the Galaxy S7. That’s a heavily rumoured feature, so we’d be surprised if it turned out to be false.

The screen size is, according to uSwitch sources, between 5.7- and 5.8-inches. Previous leaks have put the size at 5.77-inches, so this gels with existing speculation. The dimensions of the handset listed in the post are as follows: 153.5 x 73.9 x 7.9mm. That’s a little thicker than both the Note 5 (7.6mm) and the Galaxy S7 Edge (7.7mm).

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 6 in early August, with a release supposedly scheduled for September. However, Samsung hasn’t released any such information, so take these reports with due caution.

Rumoured Galaxy Note 6 specs include:

  • 5.77-inch display
  • 2K (QHD) screen resolution
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor
  • Adreno 530 GPU
  • 6GB RAM
  • 256GB storage
  • 4,200mAh battery
  • IP68-certified waterproof/dustproof body

Hemmerstoffer also noted that it’s unlikely that there will be a non-edge variant of the Galaxy Note 6 – also rumoured as the Note 7.
