The first patch for Fallout 4 is now live on PS4 and PC, with the Xbox One to follow later this week.

As you might expect from a Bethesda game, Fallout 4 launched with its fair share of random bugs and issues.

So it’s no surprise that Bethesda has already rolled out the first official patch, which is now available on PS4 and PC.

The Xbox One version of the update is set to launch later this week, Bethesda said on twitter.

Update 1.2 weighs in at 505 MB on PS4, and aims to provide “general memory and stability improvements,” among other fixes.

The patch also fixes crashing issues players have been having when using a terminal or jumping into the water.

You can check out the full list of patch notes below:

  • Performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant
  • Optimizations to skinned decal rendering
  • Fixed issue with player becoming stuck in terminals
  • Fixed issue where equipped weapons become locked after completing Reunions
  • Fixed issue with "When Freedom Calls" where the quest would not complete
  • During "Confidence Man" fixed issue where player's health would continuously regenerate

The PS4 and Xbox One versions of Fallout 4 should see general improvements when it comes to performance thanks to the patch.

Both framerate and load times should see a small boost, and won’t be as tedious as they were before

Fallout 4 launched on November 10 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The highly anticipated RPG managed to ship over 12 million units in its first day of release.
