Day of the Tentacle Remastered release date confirmed

Double Fine’s Day of the Tentacle Remastered will be available for PS4, PS Vita and PC later this month.

The classic adventure game will launch on 22 March at a price of £10.99. Those who pre-order will receive a small discount and exclusive theme if you’re on PS4.

It's currently unavailable to pre-order on the European PlayStation Store, but Double Fine has confirmed to Eurogamer that the listing will be up soon.

Day of the Tentacle Remastered will support cross-buy and cross-save on PlayStation platforms as well as support for cloud saves.

The remastered release will include new visuals, audio and developer commentary from Tim Schafer, Dave Grossman and other developers from Double Fine.

Just like Grim Fandango Remastered, you'll be able to switch between the new and old visuals at the touch of a button.

Day of the Tentacle first launched in 1993 for PC, and was one of the many iconic adventure games created by LucasArts throughout the decade.

I pre-ordered this for PC from GOG yesterday. After 20 years I should have forgotten enough of the solution for it to be challenging again.

I also know a bit more about George Washington's teeth and the guy with the kite in a lightning storm. The lack of that US-centric information did hold me back as I recall.
