Check out this brand new For Honor trailer

Ubisoft has released a brand new For Honor trailer, showing off the first unveiled Samurai Hero.

At the Sony Tokyo Game Show 2015 press conference, Ubisoft revealed a fresh trailer for its upcoming game, For Honor.

The trailer, taken entirely from pre-alpha gameplay footage, gives you a first look at the Oni, the first unveiled Hero in the Chosen faction of the Samurais.

“Swift and lethal, the Oni is a skilled duelist taking advantage of his quickness and mastery to slay his enemies,” explains Ubisoft. “Clad in his leather and wood armor and wielding a razor-sharp Japanese katana, the Oni is a true incarnation of death on the battlefield, his sight bringing fear in the heart of his adversaries.”

“His special abilities, such as poisoning his blade, throwing a kunai or unleashing an Arrow Storm make him an even more deadly and fearsome warrior.”

Ubisoft’s brand new IP debuted at E3 2015 and is truly focused on combat between vikings, samurais and medieval knights nonetheless.

So far we’ve only trialled the game’s four-vs-four multiplayer mode and was far more enjoyable than we expected.

For now there’s only a loose 2016 release date for the game, but we can’t wait to get us some samurai action.
