Arsenal and Konami announce official partnership
Konami has announced that it has become an official partner of London’s Arsenal Football Club.
Having previously appeared as a licensed club in Konami’s PES 2018, the two have now formed an even deeper partnership.
This will allow Konami and its developers greater access to the squad and Emirates Stadium when creating future installments including highly detailed environments and facial animation.
“Our working relationship with KONAMI to date has been extremely successful from a licensing perspective and we are delighted to extend this and welcome them as an official partner,” said Vinai Venkatesham, Chief Commercial Officer at Arsenal.
“We look forward to getting started in the next phase of our relationship with KONAMI and creating some fun and exciting content that both Arsenal and wider football fans will enjoy.”

Earning 8/10 in our review, PES 2018 refined its existing formula with visual and mechanical enhancements we couldn’t help but love.
“PES is a brilliant football game, perhaps the best game of football on the market, but its modes need a far more significant overhaul in order to let the work on the pitch truly shine.”
However, we felt some of its modes needed a more significant overhaul, so it couldn’t quite beat out FIFA 18.
