Amazon wants to make your Android phone cheaper
Amazon has announced a promotion where it’ll offer discount on select Android phones for those willing to tolerate the companies ads.
The promotion, which applies to the new Moto G4 and another from the budget manufacturer Blu, knocks $50 off the retail price of the mid-range handset.
In exchange users will see personalised ads on their lock screens offering special offers through Amazon.

For those seeking an even cheaper handset, the company is also offering the same discount on the Blu R1 HD phone, but it’s surely the Moto G4 that’ll see the majority on this offer.
Currently it’s only available for Amazon users in the US, but there’s a chance it could also spread to the UK if successful.
