Mass Effect 3
I've been playing it on the PS3 and it's very noticeably jerky pretty often. Not impressed.
Wish I'd gone for the PC version now; it was only the controller that made me go for the PS3.
You weird, weird people and your gamepads :)
Surely the mouse is a far superior controller for FPS/TPS games, as every professional FPS player will attest?
And if you still prefer the controller, you could always buy an Xbox controller for your PC. In fact, it wouldn't cost much more than the difference in price between the PS3 & PC versions of ME3...
@Chris. normally I'd agree with you about the mouse. I use that combo on my PC to play UT3 regularly.
However with ME2 you need instant access to far more than just aiming and moving. Buttons on the side of a mouse just aren't as convenient.
I did consider getting my PS3 controller working on the PC, but was concerned that the PC version of the game may not work as well with it as it wasn't designed for it.
even when logged on it wont let me post user review. But the game is not that great. it is a recycled Mass effect 2.. with some new storey and a crap ending. If you loved ME2 you will love this game with slightly updated graphics, but you will probably wish you never played the game when you see the ending..
not going to spoil it but its complete crap this reviewer obviously is just making a puff piece to appease bioware and has zero free thinking ability.
how is this game reply if you can because i want to buy it and i dont know if i should
it is really good - on the Xbox 360 you can download a free Demo. see if they have it on the PC too, and then download the Demo to see if you like it.warning: DO NOT buy the PS3 version - really laggy and buggy there.
the ending may look like it sucks, but this explains everything: http://www.gamefront.com/mass-...
only do that link after you have finished the game, huge spoilers!
i give the game 10/10 for the great storytelling, challenging AI in combat, and the amazing ending. yes, i said it. the ending is amazing. it doesnt look like it at first, but just google "the indoctrination theory" which explains why ME3's ending seems horrible.
