With a 136 litre capacity, slightly more than average for this sort of under-counter fridge, the Baumatic BR16.3A offers plenty of space for a small household. It’s probably not brilliant for people who like to buy all of their food for the week in one go, though, so if that’s you then another model might be more suitable.
There are four adjustable shelves in this model with three door balconies, one of which is a dairy box, and two salad crispers at the base. It is an unfortunate design flaw that the salad compartment is split in two. As it is already a small fridge, the unit would have benefitted better from one large compartment as right now some whole vegetables will not fit inside either compartment and removing the split would also have given more room to store more produce in general.
The fridge also features an easy to adjust thermostat and an automatic defrost function, which means there should never be any troublesome frost or annoying condensation on the inside. The slide-mounted construction is easy to use, and with adjustable feet and a reversible door it should fit easily into any kitchen unit, although some consumers have had trouble with the door fitting properly, so make sure to check that it is a fit in your kitchen by consulting the Baumatic website before purchase. The fridge is energy efficient, with a high rating of 'A', saving you money on your electricity bills and helping the environment (if that kind of thing is important to you).
Overall, despite fitting issues, this is an inexpensive, yet spacious small fridge, which will serve any home well.
