MoboPlayer Android App Review

rating-star rating-star rating-star rating-star rating-star

MoboPlayer is an alternative video player for your Android phone. Its main advantage is that it supports a wide range of video formats including popular ones such as Xvid and MKVs. In fact, it’ll play just about any format you throw at it. It supports subtitles too, which is handy if you watch a lot of foreign movies or TV shows.
The controls are very straightforward to use, as you can adjust stuff like the volume level and brightness just by sweeping your finger across the screen. There’s also a wealth of options to change the appearance of the UI and configure the various payback options, but the app isn’t as slickly presented as it could be.

MoboPlayer is one of the better free Android video players available thanks to the large number of formats that it support. However, it’s not the most user-friendly piece of software we’ve come across.
