An Xbox One release date has leaked, with retail giant Amazon suggesting Microsoft’s next-gen console will start shipping on November 27.
Although Microsoft has as yet failed to confirm the exact date of arrival for its Xbox 360 follow-on,
Having previously listed Xbox One pre-orders alongside an undisclosed launch period, the US arm of Amazon has now added a November 27 Xbox One release date to its sales page, sparking much speculation around the arrival of the next-gen console. Amazon UK has failed to offer any Xbox One release date insight.
While Microsoft had previously suggested its PS4 rival would hit retailers in 21 countries ahead of the 2013 Christmas period, during its E3 press conference last week it suggested the next-gen gamer would land on an undisclosed date in November.
Although currently far from confirmed, the speculative November 27 Xbox One release date would see the Kinect hosting console hit retailers midweek and just days ahead of Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days in the US.

A power games console with a raft of entertainment features thrown into the mix, the Xbox One specs sheet sees an eight-core processor line up next to 8GB of RAM and a 500GB HDD.
With Microsoft recently announcing the Xbox One price as £429, the 360 replacement will hit store shelves £80 more expensive than its main rival, Sony’s PlayStation 4.
Having previously been set to require a near always on internet connection to function and with DRM limitations to introduce bars to playing pre-owned or borrowed games, Microsoft has this week been forced to reverse its plans and cave in to consumer outcrys.
