WhatsApp on the web now supports iOS users

The popular Facebook-owned messaging service WhatsApp is now available for iPhone and iPad owners to use via their desktop web browser.
A solid seven months after the functionality was opened up to Google Chrome and Android users, iOS device patrons can now get in on the act.
The desktop site, available via web.whatsapp.com, still requires iOS owners to have the WhatsApp app installed on their handsets.
While the set-up is a little finicky, and not as simple as using something like iMessages with OS X, it’ll be worth it for iOS users who no longer have to pick up their phones to reply to messages when working on a PC or laptop.

Interestingly, in somewhat of an anomaly in today’s tech world, support for BlackBerry, Windows Phone and some Symbian… yes, Nokia Symbian, had been offered before today’s addition of iOS.
Support is rolling out gradually. You’ll need the latest version of the app to check if its available on your device yet.
