Watch the latest Fallout 4 SPECIAL video on Intelligence

Bethesda has released the latest in the Fallout 4 SPECIAL videos, with the latest focusing on Intelligence.

Ahead of the November 10 Fallout 4 release date, Bethesda is teasing us with a series of videos focusing on the abilities you’ll be able to hone with your character.

The latest video explores Intelligence, the fifth trait in the SPECIAL system, which goes a long way in the wasteland.

“With all the talk of physical survival in the wasteland, you may forget that sometimes it’s the survival of the smartest,” explains the latest Vault-Tec promotional video. “An empty mind is a vessel for knowledge and intelligence is the key to unlocking opportunity and adapting to your new world above ground.”

Having a high intelligence skill in Fallout 4 will get you access to new places and technologies in the wasteland.

If you’re an intelligent character, you’ll also find that you’re better at inventing items – and possibly crafting too.

Although the video cuts out at the end, it looks like Advanced Learning in the field of intelligence can reap great rewards.

Those seemingly include enhanced navigation options, better surgical and healing skills, improved chemical brewing prowess among others.

Fallout 4 is coming to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 10.
