The story follows four characters as they live through the first world war, and combines elements of puzzle, action and adventure. It’s like a playable graphic novel that sees you helping the characters solve puzzles and sneak behind enemy lines. Each character is aided by a faithful canine companion named Walt.

It includes real historical battles and locations, like the Battle of the Somme, as well as historical articles about the war. So it’s educational as well as entertaining.

As you can see from the trailer below, it’s en emotionally involving story that doesn’t shy away from the horrors of war.

The first chapter costs £2.99, then the next three cost £2.49 each, or £5.99 for a three-episode package. You can buy all four chapters on Google TV for £11.99.

Of the eight reviews on Google Play, seven have given it five out of five, while one has given it four.
