The Man In The High Castle is biggest original show in Amazon Prime history
Amazon has announced their original series, The Man in the High Castle, is the most streamed show ever by Prime members.
More people globally streamed the alternate history drama, in which the Nazis won the second World War, than any other show in the service’s history.
Like Netflix, the company does not divulge precise viewing figures for its content, but revealed the show has beaten the previous record set by Amazon original series Bosch.
Amazon renewed the show, based on a novel by science fiction writer Philip K. Dick, for a second season last week, which is impressive as The Man in the High Castle was only made available for streaming on November 20.

Roy Price, Vice President at Amazon Studios, said: “We’re very proud of this outstanding series created by Frank Spotnitz, Scott Free and Isa Dick Hackett, which Amazon customers around the world have enthusiastically embraced, and we look forward to the second season.
“We hoped that once again bringing together the work of Philip K. Dick and the vision of Ridley Scott – who brought us the classic film Blade Runner – would help deliver on our promise of creating some of the best television in the world for Prime customers, and we believe that it has.”
The show is available to Amazon Prime customers in the US, UK, Germany, and Austria.
