Sony’s Life Space UX concept gathers pace with new light speaker that pumps out high quality audio
Life Space UX, announced at CES last year is Sony’s approach to transforming elements of the home like furniture into a series of interfaces that together can combine to create on seamless experience.
The symphonic light is the latest addition to the quirky concept that Sony CEO Kaz Hirai said the company is “passionately pursuing” to make it work in the home.
Sony didn’t go into great detail about the specs of the light speaker but claimed it can deliver crystal clear sound as well as a satisfying directional audio experience.
There’s no news on pricing or a release date on either but if Sony’s Life Space UX short throw 4k projector is anything to go by, it’s not going to be cheap.
In addition to the symphonic light speaker, Sony also announced that a portable short throw projector and a LED bulb speaker will also become part of the Life Space UX range in the near future.
