Samsung Navibot CornerClean robotic vacuum announced
Samsung has officially unveiled the Samsung Navibot CornerClean, the latest in its series of robotic vacuum cleaner, with new Pop-Out Brush technology to reach those hard-to-clean spots.
The Samsung Navibot CornerClean features the new Samsung Visionary Mapping Plus system and Dust Awareness sensors within a slim design to offer a complete room clean.
“The NaviBot CornerClean is a fantastic example of Samsung’s relentless passion for innovation and we are excited to be evolving our premium floorcare range even further,” said Robert King, Samsung UK and Ireland’s Vice President of Consumer Electronics.
Samsung Navibot CornerClean Features
The Samsung Navibot CornerClean features an upgraded Visionary Mapping Plus system that uses on-board high performance computer chips and a camera to capture 15 images per second of the user’s home, creating a complete map that it will use to form its cleaning routes.
Improved sensors mean the Samsung Navibot CornerClean avoids any obstacles that may interrupt its cleaning path, such as trailing wires, shoes or even the family pet. Elsewhere, new unique brushes allow access to hard-to-reach spots like the corners of a room. When the Samsung Navibot CornerClean senses it is coming to a corner, it will deploy its Pop-Out Brushes to ensure every inch of the room is given a thorough cleaning.
When it is running out of battery the robotic vacuum cleaner will return to its docking station. Even if it is mid-way through a cleaning session, when it is revitalised the Samsung Navibot CornerClean will continue dusting and vacuuming from where it left off.
Additional customisation features allow the Samsung Navibot CornerClean to be fully programmed to clean where the user wishes. The NaviGuard function can be used to set cleaning boundaries to define off-limit areas, while Cliff Sensor technology means the beetle-like vacuum cleaner will sense an oncoming drop and divert its cleaning course, and will turn off when picked up to conserve battery power.
Moreover the Samsung Navibot is sleek in design, coming in at only 80mm in height, meaning it can slip under low furniture to clean even the more neglected areas. Plus its wider brushes mean a larger cleaning coverage in faster times.
Samsung Navibot CornerClean Price and Release Date
Whilst Samsung has set the Samsung Navibot CornerClean release date as sometime in the first half of this year, the South Korean company has failed to offer precise details on the Roomba rival’s arrival..
