Rockstar Editor for GTV 5 is exclusive to PC

GTA 5 developer Rockstar Games has announced that the exciting new Rockstar Editor feature, which allows users to pull together gaming clips and share them, will be exclusive to the PC version of the game.
With the long-delayed iteration for Windows users finally arriving on Tuesday, gamers get somewhat of a reward for their patience, whether they’re playing in story mode or online.
The Rockstar Editor enables gamers to select their finest moments, choose various camera angles, filters, a backing track and tweak everything with an audio mixer. PC gamers will also be able to add text slides to augment their creations.
The director mode enables GTA 5 gamers to select characters, objects, animals and much more, making it easy to re-create favourite moments from the game or, for instance, scenes from movies like the Fast and Furious series.
Once the the cinematic masterpiece has been created, the footage can be shared to YouTube or the Rockstar Games social club.

In a post on the Rockstar Newswire site, the firm wrote: “Watch today’s video “An Introduction to the Rockstar Editor” for an overview of just some of the features of this powerful video creation tool including special camera modes, filters, depth of field and audio customization options – as well as the unique Director Mode feature that allows you to stage creative moviemaking sequences from a cast of characters ranging from familiar faces from Story Mode, to pedestrians and even animals.
“You’ll be able to upload your finished masterpiece to YouTube and to the Rockstar Games Social Club to share with friends.”
The arrival on PC comes well over a year after the initial version landed on Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 in late 2013. Next-gen gamers were able to jump on board before Christmas. The PC version of the game, scheduled for around the same time, has been continually delayed.
