Ocarina of Time’s Death Mountain looks gorgeous in Unreal Engine 4

Programmer CryZenx has recreated yet another iconic location in Unreal Engine 4, joining the likes of Mario 64 and Sonic the Hedgehog.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is full of memorable places, and fans seem to love sprucing them up using Epic’s Unreal Engine 4.

Death Mountain’s lava and brimstone have now been reborn in the new engine, packed with some beautiful graphical effects.

We’d love to play this version of Nintendo’s classic, but the odds of an official remake is unreal (sorry…).

The creator of the tech demo, CryZenx, has also produced short clips showcasing Sonic The Hedgehog and Pokemon in Unreal Engine 4.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been released on a number of platforms, the most recent being the Nintendo 3DS remaster.
