Moto G5 wins Value Phone of the Year 2017 at the Trusted Reviews Awards

The Moto G5  has won the Value Phone of the Year 2017 prize at this year’s Trusted Reviews Awards.

Motorola has moved from strength to strength with its budget G smartphone series in recent years, and the Moto G5 is arguably the best yet.

The phone debuted earlier in the year, continuing the impressive G line. It’s 5-inch 1080p display, clean version of Android and slick design made it a winner at the price-point.

In our in-depth review, we awarded the Moto G5 a 4.5/5 score. The phone was praised for its great performance, improved design, and serious value.

Our review reads: “A more premium look and feel will be welcomed by many and using a smaller but still 1080p screen may appeal to those who found the Moto G4 that bit too big. This is still one of the best phones under £200.”

The Moto G5 is a class-leading handset at its price, so we’re happy to award Motorola with Phone of the Year 2017 at the #TrustedReviewsAwards.
